Some friends of mine put up a great display in their home each year during the holiday season. If you’ve ever read A Christmas Carol (full original title: A Christmas Carol: Prose – a Ghost Story of Christmas) by Charles Dickens, you’ve probably fallen in love with 1800s London as described by Mr. Dickens. Nearly everyone I know certainly has, despite the innumerable bad movies made in its name. Not one has been satisfactory to a purist!

Well, some friends of mine love it so much that they’ve done a beautiful display in their home. I took some photos and tried to do a drone-ish flyover of the street scenes. You can see the shops, people ice skating, churches, horse-drawn carriages, and even a scene that’s decidedly not from London: a maple-syrup making crew!

The display is gorgeous, and I just wanted to share it with y’all. Have a very Happy Christmahanakwanzika and Festivus for the rest of us! Have a safe and Happy New Year and see you on the other side. Enjoy the vid!
