Before I go into my rant - which newbies may see as shallow, opinionated, narrow-minded, and snobbish, and I'm good with that - I just want to make a couple of things perfectly clear.
In most parts of the country, BBQ season is still several freezing months away, but for those of us in the sunny Southwest, it continues year round. Don't hate me because I'm warm!
It wasn't just because of the wines - although that had a lot to do with it - but it was because of the Wild Game BBQ that Augie hosted. So it was our stomachs that made the decision for us. What a shock, right?
