Well, my friends Rick and Jarlene went to Cambria, California - actually Paso Robles – for Rick's special birthday. I won't say how old he is, but let's just say that he's been around the block a time or two. Or several.

Well, he's a genuine restaurant critic with years of experience, and except for the occasional stellar or stinky incident, I have taken his advice to heart.

Happily, they eventually closed. Apparently, bad service - no matter how great the food - was the karma that blessed Sweet Water. In its place, however, rose STEELES, an eclectic fusion steakhouse. Whatever that means.
