The Union Road Wine Trail is one of the newest wine trails designated in the Paso Robles AVA and honors those wineries/tasting rooms that are on or adjacent to Union Road. The first winery on the trail where many of us will stop when driving into Paso Robles from the east is Tobin James, which, by the way, is on more than this wine trail. It’s at the eastern end of the trail and Hug Cellars is at the other end.
I haven’t visited all of the wineries on this or the other trails. The numbers of wineries in Paso Robles have exploded so much in the past few years that it would take a month or two – or six – to visit them all. My liver and I aren’t quite that brave yet.
Take a look at the map below to see the locations of the wineries.
The wineries designated as those on the Union Road Wine Trail are as follows:

I find it interesting that although they are in the same industrial park and adjacent to Hug Cellars, both Brochelle and Barrel 27 don’t seem to be a part of this wine trail. But when you visit Hug Cellars, you can’t miss the other two. To see the Union Road Wine Trail, just Click Here.
