I wanted it to be pretty, detailed, and running. While I could be talking about my dream car, a 1959 Cadillac El Dorado Biarritz Convertible in gleaming red, in this case I’m talking about the Vegas Wineaux website, of course!
I still had a lot of holes left over from both hackings in 2011, and I think I’ve filled most of them. In addition, we’re now selling wine through Amazon.com, and have the ability to give star ratings to all of our reviews.
The wines are really important to me because I’ve been able to pick and choose the wines that I want to have available for everyone. I have several wines represented by Mendocino, Lodi, Sonoma, and Napa, of course, but – surprise surprise – most of the wines are from Paso. And yes, I can say that I’ve tasted many of them. If not the exact wines, then I’ve tasted from most of the wineries represented. I will update y’all more on the wines in a later post.
There’s still more to come – promise! – but I’m very happy on what I’ve accomplished so far. The new logo, new star rating system, improved search, and an update on our services is what I was aiming for, and I think I’ve achieved it. I’ve spent the last several weeks deep into Photoshop, Adobe Illustrated and other graphics programs, and feel like I’ve turned into a real computer geek. A computer geek who loves to sip wine while slaving away over a hot keyboard!
You will be updated once a week if you subscribe (hint! hint!) and won’t be bombarded by every little post.
Join a few hundred other people and enjoy the postings, the reviews, and the updates here at the Vegas Wineaux site.
And as always, stay tuned for more!
