You may be wondering where our plucky little group of ladies stayed for a (very) extended weekend. Well, thanks to VRBO, we were able to rent a house for a fraction of what it would have cost us to get hotel rooms of equal habitability. Our needs were few – we each wanted our own bedroom, we wanted a fully functioning kitchen with a gas stove, a wonderful outdoor area, a quiet neighborhood, charm, and cheapness.
I was able to find this beautiful five-bedroom house that was about a 15-minute walk from downtown (even though we didn’t) that totally fit the bill. There had originally been five of us, but one dropped out. And everything worked out fine!
