Las Vegas is a town (because the Strip is not the city) that captures the imagination of millions, a glittering oasis (love that term) in the desert, renowned for its nightlife, entertainment, “gaming,” and world-class restaurants. YouTube has an array of channels dedicated exclusively to Las Vegas. From local vloggers who bring the Strip to visitors, to gambling experts sharing both luck and strategy, to foodies eating their way through buffets and fine dining, the world of YouTube Vegas channels is as varied and fascinating as Vegas itself.
I’ve lived in Las Vegas for over 30 years. I’ve worked and retired in this town, and have no plans to move anywhere else, despite the summer heat. In fact, the heat is the only negative as far as I’m concerned. In fact, our summer weather – with the exception of the occasional monsoon storm – is pretty boring. “Hot. Sunny. Dry. 100 degrees or so.”
Repeat.
Late July through August and early September, however, means that our location in the Mojave Desert never cools off. It’s not unusual to have a 105° daytime high and a 95° overnight low. So I just stay in AC or by a pool. It’s the only way.
We don’t have blizzards, tornadoes (except for the small tornado seen near Mesquite a couple of years or so ago…no damage), hurricanes, excessive humidity, etc. In fact, 16% humidity is considered to be brutally humid here. We’re spoiled.
As a result, we are a draw all year round. I call April and October our Chamber of Commerce months because they tend to be perfect and fool people into thinking summer doesn’t exist. Warm and dry with cool nights and gentle breezes.

In a nutshell, Las Vegas is constantly evolving. New resorts open, classic icons are imploded, shows change, and restaurants come and go. Whether you’re visiting soon, planning a dream trip, just a fan of the town’s sights and stories, or are a local looking for something new to do, YouTube offers a visual into all things Vegas. These channels provide what I can’t: 24//7 variety!
So what was I looking for in showcasing this list? Some of the following, in no particular order:
- Walkthroughs and virtual tours of the Strip, Fremont Street, and off-the-beaten-path locales
- Food reviews and buffet experiences and insider perspectives from locals and frequent visitors
- Money-saving tips and deals
- Entertaining stories and maybe occasional interviews with Vegas personalities
- With few exceptions, frequent updates keep viewers informed on the latest changes
- Transparent reviews and honest opinions
- While a couple of the channels fall a little short in this regard, clear visuals, good audio, and thoughtful editing are important. The exceptions have a lot to offer anyway
- Whether it’s a local’s insight, a travel tip, or a focus on a particular aspect of Vegas, the best channels offer something that sets them apart

Why I’m Doing This
As a long-time Vegas resident, people often ask me Vegas-specific questions, whether about shopping, casinos, restaurants, or anything else. There are numerous channels that are specifically Vegas-focused, and they range in quality from outstanding to meh. I discovered a bunch some time ago, and instead of making stuff up, I guide people to those channels. There are also several non-Vegas channels that feature episodes or segments of Vegas, and they are quite good. If I can refer one that may have an episode or two, so much the better. I didn’t list any of those here because of the sheer numbers.
The following is my personally curated list, beginning with a few Honorable Mentions and concluding with my top five. Each brings its own unique style, expertise, and viewpoint, ensuring that there’s a channel for every Vegas enthusiast. All of the channels I’ve listed have current, regular updates. I’ve found some great ones that haven’t updated for several months, which is sad.
The spotlighted channels are largely food and resort-focused, as well as a bit of local news that many travelers are curious about. I don’t focus on negative channels or those that are more politically oriented or state-focused. And, yes, I have a couple of great favorites!
Enjoy!

Jacob covers not only the Strip and downtown but also ventures into Las Vegas neighborhoods, providing updates on real estate, cost of living, and local happenings. I was always glued to the Travel Channel, and that’s the kind of informative and fun vibe I’m aiming for here. Thanks for watching! ❤️

My Favorites!
- Vegasstarfish – (from the channel owner) Vegas Travel Content Creator on TikTok & now YouTube. Visit vegasstarfish.com to download and unlock all the secrets to the city of Las Vegas. Note: While there are some older long-form videos, the magic of this channel lies in the shorts. Because sometimes that’s all you need. But most of all, she’ll return to a review she made earlier, and make appropriate changes, whether it’s a mea culpa or a downgrade. The realest Vegas channel, in my opinion! And this is my number one.
- Let’s Eat Vegas – (from the channel owner) Welcome, fellow FOOD LOVERS, to our channel, where we’ll tell you about The Good, The Bad, and The Delicious!! Join me, a former award-winning LA chef and restaurant owner, and my partner, a former restaurant manager and successful owner, as we review restaurants, buffets, and other eating establishments. Note: I’m a recent subscriber and I LOVE THIS CHANNEL! You can tell Chef is a grownup.
- Chef Eric James -(from the channel owner) Welcome to my life as a Personal Chef in Las Vegas—where the kitchen never sleeps and every day is a new flavor. I’m Chef Eric, and this channel is your all-access pass to the good, the bad, and the downright delicious moments of running a personal chef and catering business in Sin City. From prepping casual to high-end dinner parties and throwing down at mix and mingle events with small bites to custom meal prep for my clients (and sometimes myself), I’m taking you behind the scenes of what it really takes to feed people for a living. Note: Chef Eric goes out to eat, is a personal chef AND copies recipes with his own unique touch. Even though he’s a relatively new Vegas transplant, I’m obsessed!
- Vegas with Shin – (From the channel owner) Hello and welcome to my channel! I’m a resident of the fabulous city of Las Vegas, and I’m a huge lover of all things food! I’m on a personal quest to vlog every single restaurant on the Las Vegas strip as well as downtown on Fremont Street. I’m going for a 100% collection. I try as many diverse dishes from the menu as possible to give you a wide view of the restaurants and eateries for those visiting Las Vegas. Note: I love his weekly uploads of restaurant reviews. He hasn’t uploaded a Short in about a year, and that works fine.
- Going Out with Paul and Amy – (from the channel owners) We’re Paul and Amy, food vloggers based out of Las Vegas who travel often. We discovered that our favorite way to explore a new area is with FOOD! We’re not professional food critics, but we do have a lot of experience eating out at restaurants and want to share our journey with you. Note: Regular people, and despite their claims of traveling often, seem like a regular Las Vegas channel. They enjoy regular food, dive bars, and so on. Sorta like Guy Fieri, only with two of them!
